ANZAC Day 2024 | Temporary Road Closures & Information

Council welcomes people to attend the 2024 ANZAC Day services on Thursday, 25 April 2024.

This year’s services will be supported by the Australian Army, who will be marching and will engage in the delivery of the day's services.

The Dawn Service will commence at 5.30am with the march commencing from the Miller Street/Bridge Street corner at 10.30am followed by a Memorial Service at 11.00am at the Cenotaph in Miller Street.

During the celebration of ANZAC Day on Thursday, 25 April 2024, the following streets will be closed between 5.30am and 7.00am for the Dawn Service and 9.30am and 12.00pm for the 11.00am Memorial Service:

  • Miller Street: Between Wrigley Street and Castlereagh Street.
  • Bridge Street: Between Morris Street and Miller Street.

Miller Street traffic will be re-routed along Wrigley and Wamboin Streets during these closures.
