'HAVE YOUR SAY' FEEDBACK!
We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to send in feedback regarding community projects for the Stronger Country Communities Fund & the Centenary of Armistice WWI commemoration project.
We had 213 responses to the survey, including additional feedback received by other communication means!
On Tuesday, 17 April 2018 Council considered the results along with the relevant information, and has resolved to apply for the projects identified in the first image for the Stronger Country Communities Fund, in order of priority. (Please note, that the total of these projects is higher than the amount Gilgandra Shire Council has been allocated, so not all projects may be successful.)
Council further resolved to commemorate the Centenary of Armistice of WWI with a sculpture at Tooraweenah. However, because of the positive response for the silo art, this project was added to the Stronger Country Communities Fund grant application. It was felt the concept design could better reflect Gilgandra Shire's community, industry and history (pending Graincorp's approval process and SCCF success), while the sculpture could more appropriately reflect the Centenary of Armistice.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these projects, please contact Council on 02 6817 8800 or visit our website to complete an online form http://www.gilgandra.nsw.gov.au/Connect/Online-Request
