Council is inviting the community to HAVE YOUR SAY on projects to be included in the Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF) Round 5 application.

The objective of the SCCF Round 5 is to boost the wellbeing of communities in regional areas by providing new or upgraded social and sporting infrastructure or community programs that have strong local support.

A total of $1,272,058 has been allocated to Gilgandra under SCCF Round 5.

Mayor, Doug Batten says Council is keen for the community to provide their support and feedback.

“Recent feedback has been integral in developing the Community Strategic Plan which identifies key community priorities.”

“We encourage the community to continue to share their thoughts as we look to obtain funding for exciting projects in our region.”

Gilgandra Shire Council has compiled a list of projects, identified from the Community Strategic and Long Term Financial Plans, that are eligible for funding under Round 5 of SCCF. Council is now inviting residents to share feedback on this list of projects, as Council prepares to submit an application for funding.
