BUSINESS IS OPEN FOR GILGANDRA… JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT!

Gilgandra Shire businesses are adapting quickly to current requirements with COVID-19 impacts felt across the region.

GSC has been working with local business to deliver a digital campaign focused on spreading the word about how people can continue to connect with local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign promotes which businesses are still open for business… just a little different.

Mayor Doug Batten says,

“It is uncertain times for a lot of businesses at the moment, and it’s important we can continue to support our local businesses and inform residents of what is available locally.”

Adding,

“We are bringing the community together and offering support for businesses, with the aim to create and maintain a little hope. We will get through this together, because we all want the same thing; to help you keep your doors and businesses open and local people in jobs until we get to the other side of this crisis”.

Council recognises that the evolving situation is taking a toll on our local business community, is aware of its role in providing assistance to help navigate this period and encourages residents to continue supporting local businesses.
