Gilgandra Visitor Information @ the GIL

Head down to the GIL - the home of our Visitor Information Centre & The GIL Collective - to find all out about the Gilgandra Region! The staff and volunteers are happy to help you explore our region and provide tips on where to go and what to see!

In addition to the Visitor Information, why not pop in to peruse the GIL Collective, a co-op of local artists, makers and businesses! The GIL Collective showcases products from throughout the Gilgandra Region and look forward to helping you #GetIfFromGIL

From the GIL, take a walk through the Gilgandra CBD. Grab a coffee from a local cafe, shop from our boutiques, visit a country pub and experience local highlights. 

You can find the GIL @ 30-32 Miller Street.

Facilities & Access

The GIL is wheelchair accessible, including accessible toilets.  If you have any questions on this or require any support, please give us a call. 

For those with caravans - there is ample caravan parking (& dump point) available at the rear of Miller Street. To access this turn onto Bridge Street between Mitre10 and the NAB bank. Turn right at the roundabout and you are there!

We are open:
Monday-Friday: 9am to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12midday
Sunday: CLOSED

 

Coo-ee Heritage Centre Upgrades

The Coo-ee Heritage Centre is currently CLOSED for renovations, including the public toilets. 

We look forward to welcoming you back soon and showcasing these upgrades!
